Three Engagements for Every Stage of AI Compute Planning
Whether you are mapping readiness, planning your first GPU deployment, or managing a multi-stage infrastructure rollout, Tensaro has a structured engagement for where your organisation currently sits.
Back to HomeHow We Approach Every Engagement
Our advisory work is structured around a principle we call "map before you build." Before any organisation commits to accelerator hardware, there is a set of questions that should be answered plainly — about data maturity, team capability, workload profile, and procurement constraints. We build each engagement around those questions.
The three services are sequentially coherent. A Readiness Assessment surfaces the right questions. A Workload Planning Workshop turns those questions into sizing decisions. An Infrastructure Retainer supports the team as those decisions move through procurement and deployment.

Scope-first model
Every engagement begins with a signed scope document. The client knows exactly what will be delivered, when, and for what fixed fee.
Vendor-neutral outputs
Recommendations are driven by workload requirements and publicly available benchmark data. No vendor-provided materials enter our analysis.
Peer-reviewed before delivery
All written outputs are reviewed by a second advisor before they reach the client. We do not send first drafts.
AI Readiness Assessment for Mid-Sized Teams
A guided review of where an organisation stands before adopting accelerator-based AI workloads. We map current data practices, compute usage, and team skills, then return a plain-language report with practical next steps. Suited to operations and engineering leads who want clarity rather than jargon.
Key outputs:
- Readiness scorecard across five dimensions
- Shortlist of workload candidates for initial deployment
- Plain-language written summary for leadership
- Q&A session included at close
Process:
GPU Workload Planning Workshop
A hands-on planning session for teams sizing their first accelerator deployment. We walk through memory needs, batch sizing, and throughput expectations using vendor-neutral examples so the team can make informed choices. Ideal for technical leads with some AI familiarity.
Key outputs:
- Capacity planning templates for your specific workloads
- Recommended evaluation checklist for hardware shortlisting
- Workshop worksheets completed during the session
- Follow-up note summarising decisions within 5 days
Process:
Compute Infrastructure Advisory Retainer
An ongoing advisory arrangement for organisations scaling AI compute across quarters. We meet regularly to review utilisation, discuss procurement timing, and document architecture decisions, acting as a sounding board for the in-house team. Designed for engineering directors planning multi-stage rollouts.
Key outputs:
- Shared decision log maintained throughout engagement
- Roadmap revisions at each review cycle
- Procurement timing and utilisation review notes
- Architecture documentation for internal reference

Standards That Apply Across All Engagements
Confidentiality Agreement
All client information is covered under a confidentiality agreement from day one. We accept client NDAs or operate under our standard agreement.
No Vendor Incentives
Tensaro holds no reseller agreements, referral arrangements, or commission structures with hardware or cloud vendors. All recommendations are based on workload fit.
Written Scope Before Billing
No billable work begins without a signed scope document. The fee, deliverables, and timeline are agreed in writing before the engagement starts.
Internal Peer Review
Every written output is reviewed by a second Tensaro advisor before it is sent to the client. First drafts do not leave the team.
Structured Feedback at Close
Every engagement ends with a structured feedback form. Responses are reviewed by the lead advisor and used to improve subsequent engagements.
Malaysian Regulatory Compliance
Our advisory work is conducted in accordance with applicable Malaysian law including PDPA requirements for personal data handled during engagements.
Fixed Fees, No Surprises
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit. No hidden additions, no hourly overruns, no automatic renewals.
